If you are worried about a 10 lb weight loss, how about a gym membership? lol. We're not racing drivers and these aren't F1 cars. Removing a couple of plastic covers won't make your car handle like a Ferrari. There isn't much you can do to reduce weight at the front. The fenders are already plastic. Perhaps a CF hood would save a few pounds. That's it. If you're building a racecar then you can get rid of the AC system, and maybe the headlights.
