Sounds like fuel filter did its job and the clogged particles starved the engine of fuel

The fuel filter i could've blocked further damage, food particles are too big to pass through right?

I would get all food out using some type of contraption, or those grabber thingies at home depot / lowes for $2. Get some of that out, it looks stuck? Or is that liquid? Just get as much of the food out as possible out of the filler neck. Or just screw it and shove the debris into the gas tank.

Drop the fuel tank and clean all the crap out once the filler neck is clear

get a new fuel filter, leave all lines unplugged. Fill with some gas and let it drip into a catch basin. Reinstall everything one the fuel lines are clear

Better than spending $5200 on parts you may not have to replace.

Dropping the gas tank isn't that bad, get a buddy to help you out
