Is this a reasonable quote from OC indy shop?

Hi everyone,

My car (2008 E90 328i) is approaching the 100K mile mark and I wanted to perform some preventative maintenance by changing the power steering, transmission, and differential fluid. I received the following quote from a very reputable indy shop in the OC area however I was surprised at how much the transmission service is:

EDIT: the pic doesn't seem to be showing up correctly for me.

The quote is definitely making me want to DIY myself from here:

I also have been considering stopping by Harbor Freight to pickup their transfer pump and oil suction gun tools to do the power steering and differential fluid myself as I feel comfortable doing it myself after reading the following DIY's:

Do these prices seem reasonable? I've only done regular 7K mile oil changes as this is very simple, but the transmission DIY seems much more involved.

I'd greatly appreciate any input on the tranmission service and also what else I should be considering at the 100K mark (i.e. water pump + thermostat, etc) or any other indy shops in the LA/OC area that is trusted.

Thanks everyone!

ps: would appreciate if STR8-6IX doesn't respond to this thread as I won't read it.. kidding(?) hahaa sorry I'm mean please don't ban me

Seems in line save for the tranny. you should have the gm version which is much cheaper to service so I'm not sure why that's so high. it looks like they're doing a flush rather than a drain/fill so maybe that's it. still seems high to me though.

Personally I've done all these things in my garage with jack stands and the tranny is a B because you have to refill it with a fluid pump but otherwise anyone can do it, it's not technically difficult? at all if you can follow instructions.

A weekend of your time and probably $600 would be the better choice imo

Thanks guys, I've found another reputable shop at almost 1/3 the price which I'll be bringing my car in for an 100K mile inspection and final quote on services.
