Used Porsche Cayenne

I'm thinking of replacing my X5 with a Cayenne, and budget I have for this car is only for the used ones.
I'm looking at 2015, 2016 with LCI tail lights.
I have very limited information on Porsche and I wanted to earn some insights when selecting a used P-car.

Is there any specific model year that is more reliable and any options that I must look for? Do I have to opt out for S model or is base good enough?
I'm planning to spend less than $55k (including tax) so selection is limited considering the model year I'm interested in. This is our secondary car and performance can be sacrificed as I would only drive it 5~10 miles daily for my commute. I've driven base model few times and while power wasn't so great, I was totally fine with how it drove, especially the handling.

How is the upkeep cost of p-car after the warranty?

Thanks in advance.

My wife drives a 2013 Cayenne. IMO it's enough engine for an SUV, the mix of the instant throttle response of the NA V6 and the aggressive tip-in tuning of the Aisin 8 speed AT make for a car that feel zippy around town. It's equally at home at speed on the hwy and it's very easy to creep above legal speeds if you don't pay attention. It's great for long road trips, the 26 gallon tank is great and you get at least 25 mpg on the hwy. But while it's zippy and happy going fast it's not a good performance driving car, for that you'll want the S or above and PDCC since it does have a bit of body roll when pushed.

As for up keep it's what you expect from Porsche, everything's a bloody rip-off. Service costs are redicolous and so are parts. Reliability has been so-so, we needed a new transfer case ( under warranty luckily... ) and new water pump, after warranty .

We really like it though so all in all we would do it again even if dealing with the dealer is liking eating barb wire due to the costs.

You'll want the upgraded seats, they are super comfy.

If you can spring for it, I would do the S. More standard equipment, more power, bigger brakes and good chance it could have PASM which I recommend.

The oldest I would go is 2013 which is considered the 958.2. IT was the first refresh of the 958 model that came out in 2011.

Actually, oldest I'm considering is MY15. I can't stand the look of the old steering and rear taillights. In terms of standard features, which options come standard in S compare to the base model?
It looks like S model depreciate more than the base model.

Good luck searching!

I found this base model equipped with PSE and PASM which are VERY VERY rare in base model as you already know, with only 12k miles on sale for $54k in the exact color combo I wanted (black/beige) and it got sold while I was having a morning meeting!!! It was MY2015 excutive demo with CPO so I was going to put down a deposit without seeing it and go take a look in the weekend. I'm not sure if I can forgive my client for calling for emergency meeting today...

Oh I'm searching the entire US.
I'm strictly all in for black/beige combo with PASM and/or PSE and there are none.
