OBD2 tools for E39 5 Series?

I’m looking for an OBD2 tool that will not only tell me basic info and show me engine codes but also let me reset things and tell me why things light up.

For example, my ABS light comes on from time to time, and I suspect it’s caused by a bad speed sensor. Also, after driving a bit, I get a notification that my taillights don't work, but when I check they are working fine. So it seems like its a false code or something else is causing it. Any advice on what tool I can buy to help me out with these issues?

Thanks!
