Bringing your phone with you to the weight area is ok if you're not constantly working on those finger gainz texting.

If it's for music, it's usually in your pocket/arm band/gym bag (if you have wireless earbuds)- so there's really no use to have it out while lifting.

I once accidentally kicked someone's phone because they left it out on the floor recording themselves doing something for their IG- which I apologized for, but also said "bro- you're not supposed to leave it anywhere you want. Last thing I'm expecting is an 800dollar phone on the floor" to which they understood.

No use to have your phone out huh?

You can have your phone outside of your pocket if your dumbbell pressing and you don't want to smash your phone in your pocket when you finish your set . You know like bring them back controlled onto your thigh and re rack them like a civilized person. Hence, why I would tuck it under the bench I'm working on.

Another reason why you could keep your phone outside of your pocket would be for dead lifts/rack pulls/landmine presses etc. It really is not that hard to understand.

Now I'm not saying to leave your phone in the middle of the gym floor, just saying that people should not be dumping weights after they are finished.

You really have a hard time using your gym bag, huh?

Good thing we don't go to the same gym. We'd have a problem.

Sometimes I have to grab a quick workout in my building's gym. I always laugh when I walk in because I pass a sea of skinny and skinny-fat millineals boys doing calisthenics and floor stretching as their whole workout while their hot female counterparts are drenched in sweat working out like Russian Olympians. Oh well, at least I have a couple of Aesthetics kids in there who know how to workout even though they have to stop after every set to instagram their pump and abs.

haha standing on those little mats always seems a bit discourteous. I know that I try to not step on them at all costs.

When I used to work out back in the day, no one listened to music. Now everyone is practically in their own world listening to music and on their phones.

From the corner of my eye, I watched a guy keep looking around for a whole minute. I eventually asked if he needed a spot in which he did. He told me he was trying to get people's attention so they could watch out for him in case his elbow went out or something bad happened.

I guess being a loser/loaner at the gym doesn't pay off, haha.

I feel weird asking for spots because the amount of people who look like they can spot who don't wear headphones is limited and next to none.

Sucks as my mentality needs a spot because when a person is standing there spotting me, I am instantly like 10-15% stronger. (Or maybe I try harder to not look like the wuss I am )

Anyone post about dummies that wear body spray when they work out? New dude been showing up the last couple weeks and the whole room stinks with body spray...can't breathe...

Another noob been showing up at the gym who has no idea wtf he's doing. The guy is loud as shit, slamming weights, even making noises when pinning the cable weights, sitting down, standing up...basically any movement this idiot grunts. Hilarious. Not to mention a fart or two. Not returning the equipment. Where the hell do these people come from? WOW

I had swam about 10 laps when this group of teens jump in the pool. And sit right at the corner of the lane I'm swimming. While I'm down at the other end they grab the wall and practice their kicks. THERE IS A WHOLE FUCKING POOL and you choose the end of the lane I've been swimming?????
