M5 vs M3 engines

I know that the S85 and S65 engine are based on the same architecture, just with the S65 engine having two less cylinders. I was wondering if the S54 and S62 engine had the same relationship?
Thanks.

No there is no relationship in that sense. They have many similarities but they dont have the relationship the S65 and the S85 have
