E39 passenger side mirror weird angle after replacement

Hi all,

Unfortunately my E39 had to deal with some vandalism. My left side-mirror (passenger side) got destroyed. I have electric folding, heated mirrors (no auto-dimming).

Fortunately the insurance company covered the repair and I just got my car back after the whole deal.

However I noticed a few things, which I wanted to ask you guys if they are normal or what to do about it.

- mirror (glass) seems to be at weird angle. I have to set it with the electric controls completely inwards (as far as it goes) to see normally besides me. I don't even see a little part of the car in the mirror at this point.
- the glass seems a little blue-ish.

The parts are all original BMW as far as I can tell. The electric folding is working, but especially the angle of the mirror/glass seems odd to me.

Is this something that is adjustable? Is it done easily yourself? Or do I have to go back to that shop? Insurance company had it repaired at a non-BMW workshop.
