I don't think these images show a well balanced design. I sure like the front but the rear doesn't jive.

Yeah right. The next 3 probably won't have a manual let alone the 8 haha

I'm really liking the way this is shaping up. Can't wait to see one in the flesh!

One thing I thought was that I could see Jaguar F-Type in this car. Which I like a lot!

Trouble is... Doesn't really look like a BMW. Kidney grills and rear lights, sure, but the rest? Nope.

I like it..let's see how toned down the production car will be, but they might have something here. I hope someone is already doing M8/M8GC renderings.

They should limit the 8 series to 2 door models to avoid watering down its brand image to a CLS/A7 competitor... leave the sedan/GranCoupe variants to the 6 series.

I see a bit of i8 in the back. Otherwise a very sharp looking car, I wonder what the price point is.

I am disappointed with the front. Hopefully, it doesn't look like that in production form. Everything else looks great. BMW's front end designs are starting to look more and more like the car has a beak, or a someone that's squinting with the super thin lights. You have to draw the line somewhere. The profile still looks amazing.

it's ok I was waiting for something a bit better than this
I don't like dat the Hofmeister kink is not good pronounced, that make the design not really BMW-ish, I don't like the front grill neither

redesigned I8

the new 8 series to me looks too much like a redesigned I8. This would mean that a new supercar is in development??? I am not a buyer of the 8 series if it looks like th when produced.

I like it all except the overly large kidney grills. Maybe it would look better if they were 'blacked out'.
