Pens still hold a playoff spot - but only because they've played 2 more games than most. Plan must be to kill them with these away back to backs - then let them get cold by not playing for extended times at all.

Anyone that wants to say they're Bettman's favorite can kiss my curvy ass.

Where was all the facial hair on the Sharks side????? Although after that one bounce to his chin, I think Thornton is happy he grew out.

Kings were just resting up to go 5 in 8 anyways.

Kings rested for three days while Sharks played night before. I only saw the third period and the Sharks looked pretty good against one of the top teams right now. Was almost playoff like but not like Ducks vs Kings.

Read today that Thornton is injured and playing at 80%. We'll see how this plays out in the season.

Sharks have now moved up from wildcard spot to third in group...the dogfight is on!

checking in...been away from the NHL discussion since the '15-'16 season

don't have much to post about right now except to say that after being wholly disappointed after the Islanders laid an egg in Dallas, it was relieving to see them come back and trounce the Blues the following night. and now they don't play until Thursday

They are in a playoff spot right now--better than being a few games removed.

tis true. team is starting to play together better now...Barzal is a freak of nature, I hope he can keep it up. Halak has been disappointing to say the least, but Greiss can't play every game

Yeah they didn't look very motivated through most of the second and third period. We should have won that game.

Oh...my aplogies. I stand corrected

Never thought Sid as a diver. Was a whiner, but he's seemed to curb that here in the last couple years.

I'm not myself this season when it comes to watching NHL ,I like watching good quality games but I don't know
I have an uncanny feeling that neither Pittsburgh Penguins won't make it 3rd times in a row nor New York Rangers will lift the cup
I have no idea why I'm thinking this way at all
I have watched some crazy games as well
Happy Games

that was not gud...clearly intentional hack on the back of his noggin.

Back at ranch the Kings ended their losing streak. Going to see what this Vegas team is about but since its our main rival for second at the moment its a must win game.

Did Gudas get anything? I saw that as a 5 min major - either with a 10 misconduct or a game misconduct but I don't see a suspension coming.

10 game suspension..shoot, with such a brutal intentional kind of hit he should have gotten the year off. If that hit the neck in the right place it could have caused serious injury or even death.

McNabb beat up on his old teammates in that VGK/'king guys game. Been quite a while since I've seen Doughty put to the ice in that manner
