I actually work for a company that does a lot of "top of bed" stuff for Serta, Sealy, S&F and many other mattress companies. The metal tag that TXSTYLE posted looks very familiar to me

Depending on the brand/model sometimes they can be based on the same frame/quality builds but the price difference will vary vastly despite being the same bed. It is amazing how much technology is goes into a bed nowadays!

Nice to see some of my company work on the site!

Just messing with ya. BUT... Sleep and the comfort in doing so, is pretty damn serious with me. I'd hope it would be with every human unless you're a Vampire?

Definitely long over due for you guys and others here. And yep, I feel ya on the wife sleeping in the middle thing. I'm twice her size, yet I'm confined to my 1/3 side of the bed.

Hey, I don't know about you guys, but a Good Nights Sleep is right up there in my "TOP 5 Priorities of Life"! I do NOT neglect my back or comfort.
You guys have to realize how vitally important not just rest but actual Sleep is to overall health and longevity.

Tempurpedic Cloud Lux here. I adore it.

Didn't completely eliminate my back pain but reduced it by about 90%. The other 10% is because the dog sleeps tangled in my legs. It's definitely about five degrees warmer than a conventional mattress but that's an added bonus much of the year.

Well, so is personal hygiene, but I don't think it's necessary to have a thread for it.

Just my two cents.

I live in Miami so I don't sleep...Ha! I do keep busy and work out a lot so I never have had problems sleeping, by the time I get to bed I fall right asleep I do make sure to try to get 8 hours of sleep because for the well being this is very important but I'm not too picky with mattresses I usually let my girl pick it out and I'm good

I went to a jewelry store today and there was a Sleep Train next door so I checked out some beds. I think I would like replace my current bed with either a Simmons Beautyrest World Class or Stearns & Foster.

Both Great choices. I would strongly suggest at least laying on this Serta iSeries before you make a final decision. And again, I have found better pricing from retailers: Sears, JCP, etc not Mattress Stores.

I don't know shit about mattresses and honestly when I go to the store they all feel about the same to me. Little softer, little harder but I could sleep on any of them.

Anyways my old mattress was starting to get pretty bad like bad springs or something creating a lot of pressure points. So I decided to get a new one.

My business partner worked in the mattress business for many years and he recommended the Pure Latex Bliss Latex Mattress. They have like 3 different ones 10" 12" etc. I went to the store and they pretty much all felt about the same to me but my gf preferred the 12" so that's what we ended up with.

I like it I have no complaints. My main concern was heat as I've heard memory foam can get hot. No issues with this latex mattress sleeps just as cool as my previous one.

My review after a few nights of sleeping. I am a VERY light sleeper and it didn't take much to wake me up. Combine that with adjusting to this new and different feeling bed, and I am very pleased to report, my decision was great! It is slightly firmer than our previous, but that has turned out to be a good thing. And it sleeps cool which is a huge plus for me.

My wife and I have had S&F for around 15 years. Probably should replace the mattress and box spring based on age but they are still holding up / still comfortable - definitely worth the money (which seemed like a lot back then). Almost certainly will replace with S&F again at some point.

My brother in law became a C5 quadrapeligic 10 years ago. He has a full motion TP....he has not had a pressure sore to date.

That is saying something...

Let's add in the bed frame: Now, on all our frames, I go to the hardware store and buy solid oak planks, usually 1x6 and put at least 5 across to support the box springs. Screw them in so they don't slide around, and the rest of the bed stays a lot better shape.

Also, no more squeaking during special time . . .

Absolutely!!! Our new King mattress weighs @ 150lbs. + wifey @ 110 + me 230! That's some serious poundage (literally going on!)
So yeah... Those support rails need to be thick and sturdy or you will have all sorts of noises from just the slightest movement.
