E39 535/540 any good?

as per title

i came across these by chance (not really what i was looking for) on autotrader today as i'm currently looking for a new car and couldnt believe how cheap they are now (i rang about one of them this afternoon as it was very local to me but sold already) fuel economy isnt a worry as i only do about 5000miles per year in my car

I'm looking to get a 540i in a couple of years when I turn 25/26. I got a quote the other day for £1600 fully comp as a 23-year-old with a crash in the last year and the encouraging thing is, the cheapest fully comp I had on my E36 320i back when I was 21 was £1450.

Just seems hard to find the '40 in manual; most seem to be autos.
