What do you guys think about this camara?
Hey guys, after using a couple of my friends camera's, I decided to look into purchasing one of my own. They told me to look into a Nikon D40 so I was looking around on craigslist and found a Canon for pretty cheap but then again I don't really know about camera's. So what's your opinion on this camera, should I buy it?
Here are the specs from is post..... "I am selling my black 10 MP digital SLR Canon Rebel XTi with its lens, Canon EFS 18-55mm. I have had it for about 8 months. It has very minor wear and tear. It is in excellent working condition. The dust removing system DOES work. Also, I am including the following: Original box with books, CDs, and cables Two batteries and a charger Two Sandisk 512MB CF memory cards One Sandisk 1 GB CF memory card One Sandisk 2GB CF memory card I am selling this bundle for US $300. A used body itself is selling on eBay for at least $230 and kits for almost $300 plus their shipping charges. The extra battery and Sandisk CF memory cards can go together for $50 on ebay plus shipping." Thanks Last edited by Labrada_Exoticz; 01-28-2009 at 12:53 PM.. |

I say snag it... good deal and a great entry level camara - or camera.
canon over nikon anytime... especially for people who don't know their way around cameras too well, the canons are just much easier to use. |

I used one from 2006-2008 as my first DSLR. I got some great pictures with it, even using the kit lens. Examples: |

its a great deal, I sold mine for $400 but I only included the XTI and the 18-55mm lens which is the same one shown in the pic you posted.. The extra battery and memory cards arent much of a value but for the camera and kit lens $300 is a great deal.
and also, I had two of these before I upgraded to a 40d.. reason being is that I sold my first XTI to get an XSi but I ended up getting another XTi because I didn't see a reason to spend more on basically the same camera... |
