Troll statement....but I will answer as I always have enjoyed our debates. Since you say that my statement is absolutely false, and assume you mean every part of what I said, I would assume you think businesses such as Pharm operate under the assumption that breaking even would be fine and normal.

So, where would they get their funding for research? If it was not for shareholders pouring money in and then the huge markups how would they invest millions in development? The govt.?

I am in no way agreeing with the system and have complained that prices are inflated, however, this is the reality.

These companies hardly operate out of the goodness of helping people...compare their motivation to something like NASA, which does research for the simple reason of human curiosity. Last time I checked the billions spent on missions to other planets has not turned much of a profit.

Yikes! Would have to pay nearly $30k in PMI!

Take this BAY AREA people! Sold As Is (meaning it's probably not too nice)

Or this other place in San Gabriel! (Better to live in Calabasas then your kids won't have an accent)

Hate seeing those pics--my house is valued at $1.2+ mil and looks nothing like that. Around here a house like that is probably at least $3 mil to start.
Wife does some staging and last week staged a house valued at $14 mil...it sold in 4 days. Homeowner via the agent paid $35K for the 4 days stage job..just to put it in perspective.

Houses on the peninsula and anywhere near the new Apple/Facebook/Google campuses are nuts like that too.

This is all about location, how much would you pay for a house like this in Beverly Hills? The San Marino house might be nicer than it looks in the pics, one of those houses that's bigger and nicer on the inside than what you see from the street. These are rich asian/white neighborhoods for those not in the know, and many of your neighbors have huge mansions, the top school district in CA. For San Gabriel, it's the proximity to San Marino but the school district might not be San Marino so you have to be careful with those, still it's over a mill.

The only middle class getting shafted by this tax bill are those in financially poorly run states like CA and NY (democratically run states). This is not a question about Republican, Democrat, rich, middle, poor or lack, brown, white - this is about a bunch of democrats who have ran headlong to socialism and away from America and OUR country.

If this tax cut hurts you you are either making $1.5M+ or in a state which is/has been/will continue stealing your monies for their power.

Most Americans are expecting to see decreases and that’s what they will get.

Seriously. I am so sick of hearing this. This is better than the status quo. My parents started a company 35 years ago. Watched them work 7 days a week growing up. Now my kids watch me work seven days a week running the company my parents started. I will take any tax relief my company can get. I am not a billionaire and I employ a lot of middle class and hope to employ more with the drop in my corporate rates.

Yep. This will be a popular event come April. It increases the deficit, and there are a bunch of add-ons that have nothing to do with taxes and everything to do with ultraconservative agenda items, but the connection there will be forgotten and "trump tax bill" will be popular.

Someone as misinformed as you doesn't make anywhere near enough money to see any kind of tax hike.

If the ACA was a good compromise in their eyes why did almost no one take the insurance? The theory is fine but the resultant law execution was horrible.

PM me if you head this way. My buddy just opened a bar and restaurant and is having a big party. Place seats about 125.

My taxes go up every year no matter what anyone says. I know what I pay and you guys do not. As my ultra-conservative Trump voting friend said, " it doesn't matter, they will get you somewhere." And as a side note, I hardly think the tax reform has much to do with Trump--it is a Republican bill--they wrote it and that's what they want. He's just happy to sign in a major piece of legislation. I'll let you guys know how much more I have to pay later.

+1

My wife practicing (15 yrs)and her older sister(22yrs) are both Board Certified ER/Trauma doctors in Florida. Both have memberships with AOBEM and AOA.

Both women disliked Obamacare because it did NOT improve quality of healthcare for patients. It allowed health insurance windfall dollar amounts to Insurance providers by being subsided by the federal government (....taxpayer $$$). They both said the metrics now being enforced by the government were unrealistic...(ie.. door to Doc times).

Both of them complained that they were now forced to spend less time with patients to comply with Obamacare metrics and were penalized with repeat offender patients (ie... the drug seekers and patients that were either too lazy to take their meds or follow up with their Primary Care providers).

I never said I know what you pay. I know that my corporation will pay less. That’s what matters to me and the people I employ. The individual rates are a side show, it’s the corp rates that matters. No need to let me know how much more you will pay later because it is irrelevant to me.

Are you talking about your tax dollars or effective rate? If you make more money each year then obviously you will pay more tax generally speaking.

But if your income hasn't changed year over year you will likely see a decrease next year. Not sure if you are just making partisan statements or perhaps don't have a good understanding of how income taxes are calculated but the majority of people will see a decrease in their effective tax rates.
