Bad news for my blue lady !

I had a road accident yesterday without human injuries.
I will describe you what happened with photos, using BMW's.

Cause of the accident i decide to change front brake discs, brake pads and all 4 brake hoses. I took the brake calibers from the 5er and after a good cleaning i paint them grey. They look great. I hope that until Monday i will take her back home.

Nice thread I've got to say. You make some nice pics to be honest.

I must ask though, isn't the 520i a little bit too weak for it's weight? My dad owned a 528i and he said he thought that was near the minimum punch that car had to have but had said 523i would probably still cut it.

Hello Majec9-7, thank you for "watching".

The truth is that after the ///M3, many BMW's are a bit slow for me, even my X5. BUT the 2.0 straight six is an economy and fun to drive engine. With full load (4 members family...), with a/c and cruising speed 160 km, she is performing great.

She is a beauty and i really love her. She is a perfect d.d.

Yeah, I just realised that this is actually the 170 hp engine so it's better than I remembered. Also what kind of fuel consumption are you getting?

The fuel consumption in town is 8,4 L/100km in highways 7,9 L/100km and overall 8,2 L/100km.
Yew the Avus blau is super.
I finally got her back home after the accident.
