I hope Sauber is able to score some points this year, otherwise I fear that may be the next team that we lose.
I'll be pulling for Haas this year, they had a great first year including that incredible result at Melbourne. |

My fault on the "alternative" reveal dates.
I read somewhere that Mclaren was going to do digital reveal of their car on the 19th, must've been just a rumor... In any case, the initial post has been updated accordingly. |

I wonder how accurate that render is in terms of the rake the car is running. That looks like Red Bull levels of rake, might be a common thing for 2017.

According to Pirelli, the teams will be close to each other in the beginning of the season, and the gaps will increase as the season goes on.
?We asked the teams for their simulations not only for the beginning of the year, but the end of the year,? he continued. ?If I look at the simulations for the start of the year, the values coming from different teams are quite close [to each other]. ?Looking at the values for the end of the year that take into account the rate of development, it?s a bit wider. But we keep this communication [with the teams], we have an idea.?

But I worry they won't last another one or two seasons. Especially the new livery without sufficient sponsors. That's worrying to an already financially struggle team since last year or two.

I hope Sauber has a strong first half of the season like TR did last year. It would be a shame to see them exit F1.

I thought that Sauber was safe for the time being given that it was "saved" last season by by an investment group and finishing ahead of Manor
Thinking about it now, I didn't realize that they we are still "at risk". Hoping they do well, but against who really? All other teams are strong. Hopefully a manufacturer decides to join and sees an opportunity in Sauber. |

2016 vs 2017 car
Same thumb nose as 2016 Mclaren Honda Business End, Daddy Likes! Livery-wise Do not like the 50/50 Yellow and Black. Would have preferred last years livery with added black accents. |
