Hi guys, Just bought my first BMW. It’s a 2001 E39 (LCI) 530i. Had it 2 days.
I was under the impression every single BMW’s seat belts automatically tighten on departure after being fastened. But my car doesn’t do this in any of the seats I believe.
Is this a feature only on some not all, or do I have an electrical fault??

I can’t seem to find anywhere on the Internet where anyone else describes having this problem.
