hello everyone.
i'm new to the e39 section, and just wanted to introduce myself.
i've owned an e46 m3 for the last three years and love it. however, my family is growing and i'm tired of driving around an smg-car. i need to get back into a manual, and i'm starting to desire some extra space, so the e39 m5 is very tempting. it's like a bigger version of my car, with a v8 to boot.
plus, even though it's not an old car, i think the e39 is already a classic... it also sounds relatively reliable, especially when compared to an e46 m3. maybe that's based on internet chatter more than reality, but that's what i'm going to tell my wife!
