We produced 9415 thousand barrels a day in 2015, the highest amount since 1970, then 8874 in 2016. Production of crude oil in the U.S. went up significantly during O'bama's term (nothing to do with him).
You keep trying to pin the price of oil (on the world market) on the President but I can see little that he does to control it.
