I don't even know about some of the Japanese branding being as good. Mitsubishi is junk, Nissan not that great and Toyota the once mass produced quality giant well they're in the average now as everyone has just simply caught up.

Everyone will once in a life time own a good and a bad car. Consistency is key, keep the drivetrain alive now days for 200k and you're solid imo. All the little crap can be replaced and changed rather at ease or low cost.

Still not convinced the Korean cars are that great.
