Hey everyone,

I recently purchased my 2001 BMW 530i and needed to change my battery. Once I did, my factory radio cuts out briefly and then comes back on. It'll cycle like this until I turn the radio off. When the radio is on, if I open my drivers side sun visor and slide the mirror cover over, the radio completely turns off and will come back on when I either manually turn the radio on or slide the mirror cover back over.

Can anyone out there tell me if you've experienced the same issue and what was done to correct it? If not, any diagnostic advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
