I hear a lot of EV proponents comment "build it and they will come", meaning build the EV's and the infrastructure will be forced to serve them. I think those that say that have a fundamental misunderstanding of how things work, and where power really comes from. They seem to think "power comes from the wall" and that it's unlimited, and think little more about it.

I think it ought to be the other way around, build the infrastructure and EV's will thrive. They will become a no-brainer choice. We are a few decades from that reality, and that's assuming we started today, and we haven't...
