I live in the Mitten so of course I play a bunch of hockey...it doesn't cost as much here as it does in a lot of other parts of the country (there's 6 rinks within striking distance from me), but I assume the higher cost of the sport can be attributed to players owning higher cost cars.
Just in case any of you were wondering, 3 sets of hockey equipment can fit into a 1er.
