Three screws at the rear and two clips in the middle are a no-brainer, but two hooks at the front are a problem. Hooks are made of plastic and are installed into the frame

No wonder I couldn't find those parts - they're an integral part of the subwoofer (best quick guess is it's the part #65136908549 on this diagram:
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...70&hg=65&fg=20).
So, the sequence is:
1. Unscrew 3 screws holding the trim panel;
2. Crack the trim panel open a bit, disconnect the harness (driver side);
3. Unscrew the 4th screw under the trim panel (driver side), keep holding the subwoofer so it doesn't drop;
4. Angle the subwoofer down and pull it back until it unclips. A little help from a second person in the passenger compartment is quite useful.
