No I think he meant that it's a better deal because the extra driving pleasure is worth the higher costs and I agree with him, the E39 M5 is one of the most amazing cars I've ever driven. I couldn't stop thinking about it for weeks after my first drive in one, the E60 M5 never left a similar impression on me.
