i prefer the m240i
the vette obviously has more presence and is slightly faster...but its not as fun or enjoyable to drive
gm still pales in comparison to the germans in the finer details which do impact how much you enjoy the drive
it feels sloppy and bungled together in comparison to the precision you feel in a bmw
the PARTIAL throttle response on the c7 is laggy
it is big and feels big
i went from a 2014 cayman s to the 2015 vette and sold the vette within 3 days and back into a 2016 Cayman s
its been 3 weeks since i got the m240i and its not up for sale

I had a C7 myself and then an M2. The C7 was faster in ALL respects than my M2... on a track, in a straight line, you name it and it owned the M2... so it would destroy an M240i
My experience was different than yours... I absolutely LOVED my C7 and only sold it for practical reasons. Yes, it was a more "raw" sports car experience than my M cars but, if anything, that was more fun. I now own a 340i as my DD and plan to add another Corvette shortly as my fun car.
