See those MMA male fighters: some wear booty shorts openly, others put a skirt atop.
Back in 2000 I was shocked to find out US attitude to men's swimwear: why would you wear pants on a beach?
That's just ridiculous. What I had always thought men's swimwear was wasn't the same women wore!
It hid the "goods" actually better than unlined (men's!) board shorts (straight from US) I wear on a beach these days.
