It depends on how you use the car and where you live. I've had a couple of painful rock chips here in the Northeast and I always do it now at least for the front end and the rear fenders. Also, if you are planning to track the car, it gives you peace of mind. Just find a good reputable Xpel shop and you should be good. It comes with a lifetime warranty too.
